1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Account Information: When you create an account using Sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID identifier and, optionally, your name and email address. If you use guest mode, no personal information is collected.
• Wardrobe Data: Clothing items you add to your closet or wishlist, including names, categories, colors, brands, tags, prices, photos, and product links.
• Outfit Logs: Outfit combinations you log through the calendar feature.

Information collected automatically:

• Usage Data: We may collect information about how you interact with the App, such as features used and frequency of use, to improve the App experience.
• Device Information: Basic device information such as device model and operating system version for compatibility purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App's features
• Generate outfit recommendations and wardrobe analysis
• Process AI-powered clothing analysis (myroot+ subscribers)
• Sync your data across devices via iCloud
• Respond to your requests and provide support

3. Data Storage & iCloud

Your wardrobe data is stored on your device and synced via Apple's iCloud (CloudKit). We do not store your personal wardrobe data on our servers. iCloud storage is governed by Apple's own Privacy Policy.

4. AI Features & Third-Party Services

myroot+ subscribers have access to AI-powered clothing analysis. When you use this feature:

• Photos you submit for analysis are sent to Google's Gemini API for processing.
• Google processes these images solely for the purpose of generating clothing analysis results.
• We do not store the images on our servers. Please review Google's Privacy Policy for information about how they handle data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: With trusted third parties who assist us in operating the App (e.g., Google Gemini API for AI analysis).
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process.
• Safety: To protect the rights, safety, or property of myroot, our users, or the public.

6. Data Retention

Your data remains on your device and iCloud account as long as you maintain the App. If you delete the App, your local data is removed. Data synced to iCloud remains in your iCloud account until you delete it. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the App's settings.

You have the right to:

• Access and export your wardrobe data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Opt out of AI features by not subscribing to myroot+

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy in the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
